portland::voodoo doughnuts!

you cannot go to portland without going to voodoo! i looked forward to it the whole trip. we woke up and went there for breakfast. it's open 24 hours a day and always packed! this cute pink location is new since last we came. and now they have a third location in eugene. awesome.
it's a quirky, super fun place.
the girls were checking out the goods.
i love that for little kids you don't even have to put money in and they think they are playing.
all the fun, quirky flavors.
we waited in line about 45 minutes. as you can see the line goes outside!
i want this green and orange sofa!

love their cute pink boxes. this box houses our doughnuts. :) it states, "good things come in pink boxes" and i so agree!
i chose the Bacon Maple Bar
Raised yeast doughnut with maple frosting and bacon on top!
de.lic.ious. i am already craving this one! so good.
flower chose the Powdered sugar doughnut
plain cake doughnut with powdered sugar.
best powdered doughnut i've ever had.
river chose The Loop
Raised yeast doughnut with vanilla frosting and Fruit Loops!
river loved it.
me? not so much. the fruit loops were soggy. if you know me you know i don't like soggy anything. yuck.
river chose Neapolitan
Chocolate cake doughnut with vanilla frosting, strawberry dust and three marshmallows!
this one was yummy and pretty too.
kg got the Voodoo Doll
Raised yeast doughnut filled with raspberry jelly topped with chocolate frosting and a pretzel stake!
kg got the Diablos Rex
Chocolate cake doughnut with chocolate frosting, red sprinkles, vanilla pentagram and chocolate chips in the middle!
KG got the Maple Blazer Blunt
It's a raised doughnut rolled into a blunt with maple frosting and red sprinkle ember, prices vary due to Blazer Mania!
this one was good!
i got the Mango Tango
Raised yeast doughnut filled with mango jelly and topped with vanilla frosting and tang!
i loved the tang on top but didn't like the mango filling so much.
i got the Sprinkle doughnut
Plain cake doughnut with vanilla frosting and sprinkles!
how can you not love it? it's so pretty!
flower also got a Chocolate ring – raised yeast doughnut with chocolate frosting. somehow i failed to get a photo.
we each enjoyed one for breakfast, exchanging bites. then we shared a couple for lunch and finished them off as a bedtime snack. awesome!!! i miss them already.
this pretty little box houses our t-shirts, bumper stickers and patch. love.
i took this photo on our way to omsi. there is something about it that i just love. can't explain it.
***if you hadn't noticed, i completely threw the 'no gluten diet' out the window for this trip. i needed a break. i loved every bite of pizza, doughnuts and who knows what else!
